World Peace Choral Festival

The World Peace Choir is an intercultural choir project, aiming to bring not only the beauty of music and joy, but also good intentions and inspiration to children and youths all around the world.

There is nothing more powerful to incite change in the world than a group of passionate, young individuals raising their voices together.

To further this potential, the World Peace Choir (in short WPC) was established under the leadership of the World Peace Choral Festival. Being a part of the WPC will provide valuable experiences and beautiful memories for each and every participating young individual.

The WPC will be performing at major international festivals and important events. It will travel throughout the world to perform, in places where passionate kids are making a difference through organizing projects that impact their environment in an enabling way.

Carefully planned and structured, camps of the WPC will take place in the course of the year to let young singers meet and practice together. The choir will be coached and encouraged by international professional artists (e.g. the conductors of the Vienna Boys Choir).

The WPC is a non-profit oriented project. Its costs shall be covered in different ways, e.g. sponsored by government authorities, NGOs, enterprises, and income through performances, e.g. future world tours.

There will be no financial expenses for the parents of the children for the activities of the WPC (e.g. traveling, hotel and accommodation, costumes, etc.). Vice versa the WPC will not only provide full coverage of the costs for the young members, but will also provide support to, for example, music education in rural regions of developing countries.

The World Peace Choir welcomes you!
